Ton is a wooden square made of oak inlays. It features warm and bright colors, which enhance the
wood’s natural grain and its essence. A geometric module, many laying patterns like echoes of a high
society distinguished by the rules of Ton.
TON is an oak wooden square characterized by 2 layers:
4 nominal mm of noble wood and 11 mm of counterbalancing in multilayer of phenolic birch (for a total of 15 mm thickness).
The wooden square is made up of 3 elements processed diversely, (natural oak, 155° heat-treated oak and 180° heattreated oak). This treatment gives 3 different colors to the wood nonetheless maintaining the technical characteristics similar among them.
The three types of folders are cut and then manually glued with D4 glue onto the plywood and pressed for approximately
60 min. The wood fiber is highlighted through a light surface brushing, while the natural varnish emphasizes the chromatic
diversity of the floor. TON is produced in Italy, in 1st grade choice. Being a natural material, within the first year (technical time for the wood to stabilize with the environment) TON will undergo some normal variations in tone, with a general lightening of the surface.
